Business Forum (Erhvervsforum)

Business Forum (Erhvervsforum) functions as SIRI’s framework for dialogue with the business community. The forum includes a list of different activities that all have the purpose of spreading knowledge regarding rules and practices within the field of foreign labour. Business Forum aims to provide information about recent changes in regulations regarding employment and retention of foreign labour, and to exchange knowledge, experiences and wishes in relation to the field.

With the help of Business Forum, SIRI wants to particularly focus on:

• Specific procedures in connection with Danish companies’ employment of foreign employees

• Important trends in connection with further development of the regulation and administration within the field

• The knowledge and experiences of companies, in terms of recruitment, employment and retention of foreign labour and their families

• The ongoing cooperation between relevant authorities

Business Forum includes the following list of specific activities:

• The annual Business Forum, which is a conference hosted by SIRI in cooperation with the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI). The conference focuses on the latest developments regarding regulations within the field, as well as thematic presentations and practical workshops.

• Seminars, which will be held on a regular basis and provide information about specific matters within the field.

• Business Forum’s newsletters, which will be sent out on a regular basis

The forum is aimed at companies in Denmark that employ foreign labour from third-countries, relocation companies, lawyers and relevant authorities.
