New guidelines regarding bookings for preliminary permits
Appointments for preliminary permits must be booked the day before.
SIRI’s regional offices receive a large number of bookings for preliminary permits for quick job start under the Fast Track scheme, and the bookings are often made on very short notice.
In order to ensure smooth and efficient processing of this type of cases it is no longer possible to book an appointment on the day. Instead, bookings for preliminary permits must be made before 12 o’clock noon on the previous work day.
This means that if you want an appointment on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, you must book it on the previous day, before noon. If you want an appointment on a Monday, you must book it on the previous Friday, before noon.
As has always been the case, appointments for preliminary permits can only be booked using the link in the confirmation mail which the employer received after having submitted the application for a residence and work permit under the Fast Track scheme. The link can be used by either the employer or the applicant. It is not possible to book appointments for preliminary permits via newtodenmark.dk.
