New fees
The fees for processing applications for residence permits in the areas covered by SIRI will be increased in 2021.
The new fees for 2021 can be seen below. Amounts are in Danish kroner (DKK).

The fees have been increased due to an increase in resources required for strengthened case processing and control in the areas of, among other things, interns and labour. In addition, the COVID-19 situation has led to an increase in resources spent on case processing.
Facts about fees
Foreign nationals who apply for a residence permit on the grounds of work or studies etc. must normally pay a fee to submit their application. The size of the fees is normally decided once a year based on the tasks connected to the case processing.
According to the law, the task of processing applications for residence permits on the grounds of work, studies etc. and any activities connected to this must be financed by fees.
