Welcome to a new and improved web portal

Welcome to a new and improved version of newtodenmark.dk.

The new web portal is targeted at our primary users. That is, users who want to apply for a residence permit in Denmark or users who have already applied.

New or changed features include:

• Five new ways to access information taking the users’ situation as the starting point
• A step-by-step guide on how to submit an application
• Simplified language, making the site easier to read
• Important words and concepts collected on a single reference page

Information on the rules and regulations is now accessible on the relevant application pages under the tab ‘Need to know’.

A large number of changes have been introduced based on suggestions from some of our users, who have been involved in the development of the new web portal.
