Right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal once the fee for issuing a passport has been paid to the Immigration Service.

Refund

The fee for issuing a passport may be refunded if:

  • the applicant chooses to withdraw their application,
  • the Immigration Service refuses to process the application, or
  • the applicant receives a rejection of their passport application.

A partial refund may also be made if the applicant has overpaid the fee.

Refunds are made to the payment card used for the payment, unless special circumstances apply.
