Tests equivalent to or higher than the Danish language test 1
Below is a list of Danish language tests that are equivalent to or higher than the Danish language test 1.
List of tests
- Prøve i Dansk 1 (with an average score of 6 or higher on the Danish 13-point scale, or 02 on the Danish seven-point scale) 1
- Prøve i Dansk 2 (with an average score of 6 or higher on the Danish 13-point scale, or 02 on the Danish seven-point scale) 1
- Prøve i Dansk 3 (with an average score of 6 or higher on the Danish 13-point scale, or 02 on the Danish seven-point scale) 1
- The study test called studieprøven with a grade average of at least 6 (on the Danish 13 point grading scale) or 02 (on the Danish 7 point grading scale) in each of the tests
- 9th or 10th grade final exams with a grade average of at least 6 (on the Danish 13 point grading scale) or 02 (on the Danish 7 point grading scale) in the Danish disciplines, except for conduct.
- Proof of passed Danish ‘gymnasium’ final exams (STX, HF, HHX, HTX).
- Højere Forberedelseseksamen (HF): Danish or Danish as a second language with a grade average of at least 6 (on the Danish 13 point grading scale) or 02 (on the Danish 7 point grading scale)
- Almen voksenuddannelse (avu): Danish as a second language level G, Danish as a second language level D, Danish level G eller Danish level D with a grade average of at least 6 (on the Danish 13 point grading scale) or 02 (on the Danish 7 point grading scale)
- Proof of passed General Preparatory Examination (almen forberedelsesekamen – avu).
- Passed FVU reading exam (level 2, 3 or 4)
- Provide completion certificate for basic level (grundforløbsbevis) or, in the case of a partially completed basic level, a transcript indicating completed courses and exams, as well as term grades or exam grades of at least 6 (on the Danish 13 point grading scale) or 02 (on the Danish 7 point grading scale) in Danish levels A-F.
- The Danish language test 3 at the study school in Copenhagen or Odense or Århus Kommunes Sprogcenter.
- Proof of following a higher educational program at a university, university college (e.g. business school, nursing college or teacher training college) etc., unless the program was not taken in Danish.
Previous tests which still qualify
- Almenprøve 1 and 2, taken at a language centre, with an average grade of at least 6..
- Danskprøve 2, taken at a language centre, (known as Studieprøven from 2002).
- Profiltest, taken at a language centre, with an average grade of at least 3..
- Erhvervsforberedende prøve (ERH), taken at a language centre, passed with an average grade of at least 6 or B.
- Voksenuddannelsesforberedende prøve (VUF), taken at a language centre, passed with an average grade of at least 6 or B.
- Danish as a second language, level 1, Dansk level 1 or Dansk level 2 as part of an avu programme.
1 When calculating the average grade for Prøve i Dansk 1, Prøve i Dansk 2 and Prøve i Dansk 3, the oral communication grade is doubled.
