Unauthorised parties have gained access to citizens' CPR data

The Central Person Register (CPR) has identified a serious security incident, in which unauthorised parties have gained access to the names, addresses, CPR numbers and other data of a very large number of citizens registered in the CPR system.

Users of the Danish Immigration Service and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration may also be affected by the incident.

Extra verification for telephone enquiries

Therefore, the Danish Immigration Service and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration have introduced extra verification for telephone enquiries to Citizen Service.

If you contact Citizen Service, you will therefore be asked additional questions to confirm your identity before we can help you.
