The deadline to leave for persons from Iran or Lebanon will no longer be extended

Deadlines to leave granted to persons who are required to depart to Iran or Lebanon will generally not be extended by the Danish Immigration Service and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI). Find the length of your deadline to leave Denmark in your decision.

If you have previously had a deadline to leave to Iran or Lebanon postponed, you cannot generally have your deadline to leave further extended.

Why is the deadline to leave no longer being extended?

The Coordination Committee of the Immigration Appeals Board decided on 27 August 2026 that deadlines to leave for persons who are required to depart to Iran or Lebanon will no longer generally be extended on the basis of the general situation in Iran or Lebanon.

The processing of asylum cases concerning persons from Iran is still suspended.
