SIRI is updating AR1: the application form for first-time applicants who have been offered a job in Denmark
On Friday 27 March, SIRI will update AR1 with a simpler structure and improved guidance that clarifies what information we need from you.
AR1 can be used for several schemes for first-time applicants who have been offered a job in Denmark, and with this update, you will experience a more streamlined application process and several language improvements.
What does this mean for you?
If you are an employer
If you are an employer and have started the first part of an AR1 before 27 March, you must ensure that you submit your part of the application with enough time left for the employee to complete and submit their part of the application by Sunday 26 April.
If you are an employee
If you are an employee and your employer has already either started or submitted the first part of an AR1 before 27 March, you must submit your part of the application by Sunday 26 April. The same applies if you have already started filling in part 2 of the application.

If you are an employer and you start an application after 26 March, you and the employee will automatically complete the updated AR1.
