Updated income statistics will take effect for applications submitted from 1st of October
SIRI uses income statistics made by The Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) in the case processing of applications to decide if an offered job is within the Danish standards for salary.
The new income statistics contains information from second quarter of 2023 and will take effect for applications submitted from 1st of October 2023. In the future it is expected that the income statistics will be updated each quaurter and that the next update will take effect from 1st of January 2024.
What does the change mean for you as an applicant?
If you apply for a residence and work permit after the 1st of October your application will be evaluated after the income statistics for the second quarter of 2023.
If you have applied between 1st of August and 30th of September your application will be evaluated after the income statistics from the first quarter of 2023.
