Please note: It is important that you create your Case Order ID, pay the fee and submit the application during the same fee rate period. If you have paid the fee before 17 May, but submit the application after 17 May, you have paid the wrong fee rate and must make an additional payment of the remaining fee. This can prolong the time needed by SIRI to process your application. If you do not pay the remaining fee within a given deadline, SIRI can reject your application.
Any remaining fee can be paid in two ways.
1. You wish to wait for SIRI to request payment of the remaining fee
SIRI creates a new case order ID and sends information about this new case order ID along with a request for payment of the remaining fee. The payment must be done on newtodenmark.dk on the relevant application page under the tab “How to apply” - step 2 “Pay the fee”.
The payment can be done with either credit card of by bank transfer
2. You wish to pay the remaining fee immediately and create a case order ID yourself
You create a new case order ID yourself and pay the remaining fee. The case order ID must be created on newtodenmark.dk on the relevant application page under the tab “How to apply” – step 1 “Create case order ID”. The payment can then be done in step 2 “Pay the fee”.
You must then send information about the previous case order ID and the new case order ID and documentation for payment of the remaining fee to SIRI.
If you create a case order ID yourself, you cannot pay the remaining fee with a credit card, since credit card payment requires payment of the full fee. The payment can therefore only be done through a bank transfer.
Once the fee has been fully paid the processing of the case will continue.
SIRI's fees for processing applications for residence permits are normally adjusted on 1 January each year. The adjustment on 17 May 2023 is due to the fact that the national budget for 2023 takes effect on this date.
