SIRI will introduce new phone hours for the call centre and adjust the contact person arrangement.
In order to use more ressources on case processing, SIRI will target the contact person arrangement and change opening hours for the call centre.
SIRI has introduced a series of measures to ensure faster case processing. SIRI is in the process of reorganising the contact person arrangement and the call centre in order to be able to offer targeted and efficient service to citizens and companies who make use of SIRI's business services.
The contact person arrangement, where companies have a contact person in SIRI, will be targeted towards companies which are certified under the Fast Track scheme. Consequently, the contact person arrangement will deal with questions about applications for a residence and work permit under the four tracks of the Fast Track scheme, but not with any other work-related schemes. In future, it will be possible to call the contact person in SIRI two days a week between 12 and 2 p.m. Outside of these hours it is possible to call the call centre.
Representatives such as relocation agencies will have access to the contact person scheme, if they represent a certified company and have questions related to the company in question.
Companies which are not certified will have to contact the call centre which can answer questions about submitting an application, SIRI's processing of cases and other relevant questions. Questions which cannot be answered immediately will be answered as soon as possible.
The new call centre which is being established will service citizens and companies which need to contact SIRI by phone. The call centre will be the main entry point for all phone calls to SIRI. This will apply to all citizens, companies and authorities that need to contact SIRI.
As the call centre is still being established, there will occasionally be long waiting times. However, SIRI has med the decision to limit the contact person arrangement now in order to allocate ressources to case processing so as to decrease case processing times.
From week 42, SIRI's phones are closed on Thursdays. This means that in future, you can call SIRI on Mondays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
