New Positive List as of 1 March 2019
Today SIRI is publishing a new Positive List valid until 30 June 2019. If you apply for a residence and work permit under the Positive List from 1 March 2019, please make sure your profession is on the new Positive List.
On 20 February 2019 the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment (STAR) published a new Labour Market Balance. Based on the Labour Market Balance of 20 February 2019, SIRI is publishing a new Positive List on 1 March 2019.
The following professions have been added to the new Positive List of 1 March 2019 and were not included on the Positive List from the second half of 2018:
- Finance manager
- Deputy/Assistant Manager, sales
- District manager
- After School Club Manager
- Nursing home administrator
- Deputy head teacher
- Restaurant manager
- Environmental Engineer
- Landscape architect
- Land surveyor
- Health and wellness counsellor
- Midwife
- Food Service Manager
- Occupational Therapist
- Research Assistant, Humanities
- Senior Research, natural and technical science
- Professor, health and wellness
- Associate/assistant professor, University College
- Upper secondary school teacher
- Web developer
- Civil Economist
- Psychologist
- Psychotherapist
- Laboratory dental technician
As of 1 March 2019 the following professions will no longer be on the Positive List:
- Sales manager
- Production manager
- Statistician
- Actuary
- Civil engineer
- Engineer, design and innovation
- Hospital doctor
- Teacher at a public primary and lower secondary school teacher
- Teacher at independent boarding school for lower secondary school student
- Speech-hearing therapist
- Attorney
- Assistant attorney
- Assistant Judge
- Assistant prosecutor
- National economist / socio-economist
