Due to the COVID-19 situation SIRI will have difficulties meeting service goals.
This will be of particular importance to you, if you have submitted an application, but are unable to have your biometric features recorded. In this case you must expect a longer case processing time.
The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has established service goals for most case types, i.e. maximum time limits on how long an applicant can expect to wait for a decision. The service goal is calculated from the day the application is submitted and until a decision has been reached. The service goals for processing an application vary from 1 to 3 months, depending on the type of application.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, SIRI will for a period of time have difficulties in meeting its service goals. This is, among other things, due to the fact that in many places it is not possible to have your biometric features (fingerprints and facial photos) recorded when submitting an application for a residence permit, and we are therefore unable to reach a decision in your case.

It is important that you follow our website for information on when it will once again be possible to have biometric features recorded.
