SIRI has seven branch offices in Denmark. In addition to Copenhagen, you will find branch offices in Odense, Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Sønderborg and on Bornholm.

Who can book an appointment?

You can book an appointment at SIRI, if you are applying for:

  • EU residence

You can book an appointment at SIRI, if the reason for your stay in Denmark is:

  • Work

  • Study

  • Internship

  • Au pair stay

  • Danish authorisation

  • Working Holiday

Finally you can book an appointment at SIRI, if you are an:

  • accompanying family member to a person working or studying

When should I book an appointment?

You must book an appointment, if you are:

  • appearing in person after completing an application for EU residence
  • having your biometric features recorded
  • applying for a re-entry permit
  • submitting a completed and signed application
  • registering a travel file in the Entry/Exit System if you wish to remain in Schengen on a visa-free short stay after expiry of your residence permit
  • applying for an entry permit to the Faroe Islands or Greenland

What should I bring?

Always bring your passport. If you are an EU citizen, you can also bring your national ID card.

If you book an appointment to submit an application, you must complete your application before appearing at SIRI.

Persons below the age of 18 are generally not allowed to interpret between an applicant and SIRI. However, for simple information such as SIRI's opening hours or confirmation of an appointment, a person below the age of 18 is allowed to translate. If you need an interpreter to communicate with SIRI, you can bring someone over the age of 18 to assist you. You can also contact SIRI for assistance.
