Working Holiday quotas for citizens of Chile and Argentian are now open
On 1 March 2023 12.00 AM a new quota period for Working Holiday for citizens of Chile and Argentina begins. Therefore, SIRI has now opened for access to the quotas.
For the period 1 March 2023 until 31 August 2023 up to 75 residence permits for citizens of Chile and up to 75 residence permits for citizens of Argentina can be granted under the Working Holiday Scheme. Permits will be granted on a first come, first served principle.
When the quota of 75 residence permits under the Working Holiday Scheme for both Chilean and Argentinian citizens has been fully used, no more residence permits will be issued until 1 September 2023 when the next quota period begins.
When 75 Working Holiday residence permits have been issued to both Chilean and Argentinian citizens, any remaining applications will be rejected and the case processing fee refunded.

SIRI has now received a large number of messages from citizens of Argentina and Chile who wish to submit an application for a Working Holiday residence permit. Since there is a quota limiting the number of residence permits that can be issued, and since SIRI has received a large number of messages, the possibility for contacting SIRI via our Working Holiday Argentina and Chile contact form has been closed.
