Payment of fees

Within the payment solution on newtodenmark.dk, you can print a receipt after you have paid the fee. Print this receipt before closing the payment module.

We do not sent you a receipt via email since you do not enter your email in connection with the payment.

When you submit your application, you must attach documentation that you have paid the fee. If you have paid the fee without printing a receipt, you must attach other documentation for the payment. For instance, this can be a payment statement from your online bank.

Online application

No, not always. Whether you need MitID to log in to an application depends on the type of application. You can find more instructions under ”How to apply” on each application page.

You must use MitID if:

  • you are completing an application as the sponsor in Denmark (family member, employer, educational institution etc.)

  • you are an applicant and already have a residence permit in Denmark.

If you are not required to use MitID, you can create an email user to log in to the application.

In most applications/invitations, you can log in to and sign the application/invitation using your private MitID as well as MitID Erhverv.

However, in some applications/invitations you can only use either your private MitID or MitID Erhverv. You can find more instructions in each application/invitation.

Companies can decide that employees use their private MitID to log in on behalf of the company.
