The Danish Immigration Service and SIRI will be closed on 20-22 January 2020

The Danish Immigration Service and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) will be closed for personal service as well as telephone inquiries from Monday the 20 January until and including Wednesday the 22 January 2020.

The two agencies will be temporarily closed due to the need to replace the central case processing system of the Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration.

During the closure it will, among other things, not be possible to book an appointment at SIRI or appear at the Danish Immigration Service to submit an application, have biometric data recorded or be issued with a re-entry permit. It will also not be possible to call the Danish Immigration Service or SIRI.

SIRI's branch offices in Odense, Aalborg, Aarhus and Aabenraa will also be closed during the same period.

Subsequently, special consideration will be given to applicants who, due to the closure, are unable to submit an application within the given deadline.

It will, however, be possible to write to both the Danish Immigration Service and SIRI during the entire period.
